Quality Level

General description

A cell binding protein domain. Competitively inhibits direct binding of fibroblasts to fibronectin. In mice it has been shown to prevent bladder tumor cell implantation. Also, reported to inhibit the migration of vascular smooth muscle cells into fibrin gels.
