General description
50 kDa
微管是有丝分裂装置，纤毛，鞭毛和细胞骨架元素的组成部分。它们主要由2种可溶性蛋白组成，α-和β-微管蛋白，每种大小约为55 kDa。
针对β-微管蛋白的抗体可用作蛋白质印迹的上样对照。但是，应该注意的是，某些细胞中β微管蛋白的水平可能不稳定。例如，微管蛋白在脂肪组织中的表达非常低（Spiegelman and Farmer，Cell，1982，29（1）:53-60），因此β微管蛋白不应用作这些组织的上样对照。
