The secreted frizzled-related proteins (SFRPs) function as negative regulators of Wnt signaling and have important implications in tumorigenesis. Frequent promoter hypermethylation of SFRPs has been identified in human cancer. Restoration of SFRP function attenuates Wnt signaling and induces apoptosis in
