Detection of the acid phosphatase reaction in leukocytes

LEUCOGNOST AP is a cytochemical reagent kit, which can be used for the diagnosis of leukaemia. Acid phosphatase catalyses the hydrolysis of phosphate esters in an acidic medium. Under suitable conditions, naphthol AS-BI is released from naphtho-AS-OL phosphate and coupled with a diazonium salt to give a red-brown azo dye which is precipitated in the cell. It is developed and registered as CE / IVD product for applications in diagnostics.The staining kit is sufficient for 12 stainings with up to 16 slides.
