Sodium Chloride Peptone Broth

Sodium Chloride peptone broth is designed as a general diluent used for microbial examination of non-sterile pharmaceutical products. The low peptone concentration maintains viability without promoting growth. Presence of Sodium chloride maintains the osmotic balance of the medium and ensures cell integrity.
The neutral pH range is optimum for the viability of microorganisms′ present. The medium aims at maximum recovery of microorganisms present in the test sample.

Sodium Chloride peptone broth is used as a protective and isotonic diluent for various microbiological test methods. The medium is used to maintain viability of the microorganisms present in the test sample.

Production will take place at Millipore SAS in Molsheim, France. Deliveries will be executed in accordance with the terms and conditions of MLS RTU GmbH. A minimum order quantity is required to process the order. Once the order is placed and confirmed, Merck will ensure product delivery within a maximum timeframe of 10 to 12 weeks.
