General description
Serine protease inhibitor. Inhibits porcine pancreatic elastase (PPE; ki = 128 M-1sec-1) and thermitase (ki = 1.14 x 103 M-1sec-1). Half-life in buffered solution (pH 5-9) = 3.5 h (30°C); 50 h (0°C).
