The G_iα-3- and G_oα-subunits share the last four amino acids (CGLY) of the immunizing peptide. Does not cross-react with other G-proteins. The specificity and cross-reactivity was confirmed with lysates from separate cultures of bacteria transfected with the genes for G_sα, G_iα-1, G_iα-2, G_iα-3, and G_oα. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
