Exhibits IL-4-like activities on monocytes/macrophages and human B cells but has no effect on T cells. A potent regulator of STAT6 and JAK3 in NK and T cells. Regulates inflammatory and immune responses. Inhibits inducible nitric oxide synthase in human mesangial cells.
