Native, enzymatically active prostate specific antigen from human seminal fluid. A single-chain glycoprotein with one asparagine-linked carbohydrate side chain. A preeminent clinical tumor marker in the management of patients with prostate cancer.

Biologically active as tested by its ability to hydrolyze the synthetic peptide substrate MeO-Suc-Arg-Pro-Tyr-pNA

In 150 mM Sodium Chloride, 9.5 mM Sodium Phosphate Monobasic, 40.5 mM Sodium Phosphate Dibasic, 0.05% Sodium Azide, pH 7.6.

Prepared from fluids of individuals that have been shown by certified tests to be negative for HBsAg and for antibodies to HIV and HCV.
