This Anti-Neurite Outgrowth Inhibitor B Antibody is validated for use in ELISA, WB for the detection of Neurite Outgrowth Inhibitor B.

Western blot: 1-10 μg/mL using ECL. Nogo-B has a molecular weight of approximately 37 kDa (Chen et al. 2000; GrandPre et al. 2000; Goldberg & Barres 2000; Prinijha et al. 2000; Tessier-Lavigne & Goodman 2000; Nagase et al. 1998).

Immunohistochemistry: not tested. It is recommended that the antibody be tried at 2-20 μg/mL on paraformaldehyde fixed tissue.

ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 using 50-100 ng control peptide per well.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Recognizes rat Neurite Outgrowth Inhibitor Protein B (Nogo-B). The immunogen sequence is present only in Nogo-B and absent in Nogo-C.

SPECIES REACTIVITIES: The immunogen peptide is 83% conserved in human Nogo-B/Foocen-m/foocen-m2. Reactivity with other species has not been confirmed.

Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Liquid in PBS, containing 0.1% BSA and 0.05% sodium azide.

Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
