Anti-phospho-Axin-1 (Thr485) Antibody

Linear peptide corresponding to a mouse axin-1 sequence containing phosphorylated Thr485.

This polyclonal antibody detected CDK5/p25-dependent axin-1 Thr485 phosphorylation both in vitro and in vivo (Fang, W.Q., et al. (2011). J. Neurosci. 31(38):13613–13624). The Thr485 designation was originally assigned based on mouse (NP_001153070.1) and rat (NP_077381.1) sequences deposited in NCBI protein database. The numbering can vary depending on species and the source of published sequence. For example, the target resiude corresponds to Thr481 of the human sequence and Thr480 of the mouse and rat sequences reported by UniProt (O15169, O35625 and O70239, respectively).

Purified rabbit polyclonal antibody in buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide.

Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.

Evaluated by Western Blotting in human fetal brain tissue lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:500 dilution of this antibody detected Thr485-phosphorylated Axin-1 in 10 µg of human fetal brain tissue lysate.

Mouse, Human. Predicted to react with Rat and Bovine based on 100% sequence homology.
