General description
Minibrain (MNBH) is also known as DYRK1 and is the human homolog of the mnb gene in Drosophila and is mapped on human chromosome 21q22.2, which is within the down syndrome critical region. MNBH may be involved in the signaling pathway that controls cell proliferation and is thought to regulate neuronal differentiation and apoptosis by phosphorylating Hip-1.
~86 kDa observed. Uncharacterized bands may be observed in some lysates.
Immunogen
GST-tagged recombinant protein corresponding to the N-terminus of human MNBH.
Application
Anti-MNBH Antibody is an antibody against MNBH for use in WB.
Biochem/physiol Actions
This antibody recognizes MNBH at the N-terminus.
Analysis Note
Evaluated by Western Blot in NIH/3T3 cell lysate.
Western Blot Analysis: 1 µg/mL of this antibody detected MNBH on 10 µg of NIH/3T3 cell lysate.
Western Blot Analysis: 1 µg/mL of this antibody detected MNBH on 10 µg of NIH/3T3 cell lysate.
