Anti-CD99 Antibody, clone 0662

Epitope: Extracellular.

Clone 0662 detects both the 32 kDa glycosylated (plasma membrane) and the 28 kDa non-glycosylated (intracellular) forms of human CD99/E2 (Gelin, C., et al. (1989). EMBO J. 8(11):3253-3259). Note that the clone was originally designated as 0662 (zero six six two) by Bernard, A., et al. (1988), but subsequently cited in some publications as O662 with a captial letter O.

Purified mouse monoclonal IgG3κ antibody in PBS without preservatives.

Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt.Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.

Evaluated by Western Blotting in THP-1 cell lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: 0.5 µg/mL of this antibody detected CD99 in 10 µg of THP-1 cell lysate.
