Anti-Kirrel3 Antibody, short isoform 3, clone N320/48

Kin of IRRE-like protein 3 (Kirrel3) or Kin of irregular chiasm-like protein 3 is expressed primarily in adult brain, bone marrow and stromal cells. Kirrel3 is thought to be involved in the hematopoietic supportive capacity of stroma cells, and the secreted extracellular domain of Kirrel3 is directly responsible for supporting hematopoietic stem cells.

Western Blotting Analysis: A representative lot detected Kirrel3, short isoform 3 in COS cell lysates transiently transfected with Kirrel3, short form, and demonstrated a loss of signal in COS cell lyasates transiently transfected with Kirrel3, long form or with untagged Kv2.1 plasmids (Prof. J. Trimmer, University of California, Davis.).
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:50-1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected Kirrel3, short isoform 3 in human thalamus and human bone marrow tissue.

This antibody recognizes the cytoplasmic domain of Kirrel3, short isoform 3 and does not cross-react with other Kirrel3 isoforms.
