Antibody recognises C-Reactive Protein (CRP) which has long been established as inflammation marker in blood. More recently sophisticated and sensitive tests been developed to make it possilbe to use CRP as a predictive marker for Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) and Coronary Heart Disease (CHD)
