General description
Isotianil is a commonly used pesticide which activates defence responses in plants against a wide range of pathogens. It is used in preventing the disease named rice blast, caused by rice blast fungi.
Application
Isotianil has been used as a reference standard for the determination of isotianil in brown rice and soil using supercritical fluid extraction and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry method.
