Testosterone acetate belongs to the class of androgenic steroid esters that can be utilized to enhance muscle strength and physical performance.

Application

Testosterone acetate solution may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
  • Horse hair samples using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HRMS) in multiplexed targeted MS2 mode and gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS).
  • Aquatic matrices by UHPLC combined with high resolution Q-Orbitrap-MS method.
