Thionazin may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in :
- Soil and marine sediment samples using supercritical fluid extraction with dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction followed by gas chromatography-flame ionization detection (GC-FID).
- Human blood samples using liquid-liquid extraction followed by gas chromatography and liquid chromatography coupled to electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry in multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode.
