General description

Fumagillin is an antibiotic obtained by the fermentation of certain strains of Aspergillus fumigatus with potent amoebicidal action.

Application

Fumagillin may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in honey samples and technical materials using various chromatographic techniques.
