Indium is obtained as a byproduct of zinc processing. It can form alloys with a variety of precious and base metals.
This certified reference material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034. This CRM is traceable to SI unit kg and measured against primary material from an NMI, e.g. NIST.

Indium standard stock solution can be used in the determination of trace amount of indium in water samples, using graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS).
