General description

Matrix modification is a procedure done for reducing or even eliminating volatilization and vapour-phase interferences. This chemical modification is done by using inorganic salt solution which makes the interfering concomitant either more volatile or makes analyte less volatile. Ammonium hydrogen phosphate could be used in determination of lead to reduce the matrix effect.
