General description
甘油会改变明胶的吸湿性及其对水蒸气的渗透性。甘油明胶或称甘油明胶封片剂（glycerin jelly medium）是一种水性封片剂，用于固定显微镜和组织学中的样品。
Application
甘油明胶已用于固定子宫内膜组织 和胰腺切片，从而用于显微镜检查。它还被用于蠕虫蛋的固定和封闭，从而用于芯片图像分析。
Preparation Note
使用前必须将产品加热到55-60°C。在37°C左右时产品恢复为半固态。
Other Notes
使用明胶、甘油和苯酚进行制备。与Kaiser甘油胶冻组成非常相似。
