General description
氯化铝六水合物是一种不易燃的化合物，广泛用作有机合成中的催化剂。除极易溶于水外，还溶于乙醇、乙醚、甘油、丙二醇和乙腈。它有很多用途，包括原油提炼、生产除臭剂和止汗产品、织物染色、纺织品整理。
Application
氯化铝六水合物用作催化剂：
- 用于醇或酚和3,4-二氢-2H-吡喃（DHP）合成对应的THP（四氢吡喃）醚。
- 用于乙酰丙酸和乙醇直接酯化生产乙酰丙酸乙酯。
- 用于由酮和醛合成gem-二氢过氧化物。
