General description
MB1 antibody stains preferentially B-cells and their neoplasms but is less specific as it will also react with some T-cell lymphomas and non-lymphoid tumors. The antigen for this antibody is in the membrane of all B-cells with the exception of plasma cells and some mature T-cells.
Physical form
Solution in Tris Buffer, pH 7.3-7.7, with 1% BSA and <0.1% Sodium Azide

The absence of reactivity on routinely prepared tissue sections has hampered the use of monoclonal antileukocyte antibodies in diagnostic histopathology. Here we describe five new antibodies reactive with leukocyte subsets in formaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Antibody MT1 is reactive with

The differential expression of various membrane CD45R isoforms by normal lymphocyte populations is known to be closely associated with distinct immunoregulatory functions.
