Application

二氰基钴啉醇酰胺已被用于维生素B12结合蛋白（BtuF）的结晶。它还被用于BtuCD-BtuF相互作用的脱稳。
用于测定内因子制剂中的非内因子（R蛋白）。

Biochem/physiol Actions

二氰基钴啉醇酰胺（Cbi）可用作可溶性鸟苷酸环化酶（sGC）辅助激活因子，并以N末端调节区为靶点。该作用类似于佛司可林对腺苷酸环化酶的作用。二氰基钴啉醇酰胺可提高大鼠细胞内环单磷酸鸟苷（cGMP）的水平，并在大鼠中表现出血管舒张活性。它可与多种钴胺素一起用于HIV-1整合酶和一氧化氮合酶抑制的研究。
