General description

Application

Biochem/physiol Actions
MCH mRNA在禁食期间在ob/ob小鼠和大鼠的下丘脑中过表达和上调。 大鼠侧脑室注射MCH可促进摄食量增加。此外,缺乏MCH基因的基因敲除小鼠瘦弱且吞咽不足,并表现出代谢率的增加。相比之下,转基因小鼠中MCH的过度表达导致肥胖和胰岛素抵抗。
