General description
Activating transcription factor-2 (ATF2) belongs to the leucine zipper family. This transcription factor associates with CRE domains and activates CRE-dependent transcription.
Rabbit Anti-phospho-ATF-2 (pThr71) antibody detects human ATF-2. The antibody is also expected to react with mouse, rat, chicken and frog ATF2 as they share 100% homology with the human antigen.
