Biochem/physiol Actions

Apo-AI 约占 HDL 蛋白部分的 70%，是由 245 个氨基酸组成的单一多肽链，其中C 端残基为谷氨酸，N 端残基为天冬氨酸。据报道，分子量为 28.3 kDa。该蛋白由 1 个主要同种型 (pI 5.6) 和 2 个次要同种型（pI 5.53 和 5.46）组成。Apo-AI 显示高含量 α -螺旋结构。α-螺旋结构中的两亲性区域似乎负责脂质结合能力。在水溶液中，Apo-AI 发生自缔合，构象变化较小。Apo-AI 可激活卵磷脂-胆固醇 (LCAT) 酰基转移酶，该酶负责血浆中的胆固醇酯化。
