General description
The ultimate in sample storage protection; the PolarSafe metal freezer boxes are available in stainless steel or aluminum. Drain holes in each box make it ideal for storing in liquid nitrogen vapor environments. Boxes are available in two size options; 2 inch (5 1 / 4 x 5 1 / 4 x 2) or 3 inch (5 1 / 4 x 5 1 / 4 x 3). Metal boxes can be stored in same rack configurations as cardboard 2" or 3" boxes. Cardboard dividers can be added depending on the application. Both the stainless steel and aluminum metal freezer boxes are guaranteed not to rust and can be used in most liquid nitrogen tanks available on the market.
