Biochem/physiol Actions
SLC36A3 (PAT3) is a proton-coupled amino acid transporter expressed in testes. The transporters belonging to SLC36 family mediate the transmembrane movement of amino acids and influence the uptake and pharmacokinetic profiles of amino acid-based drugs.
