Collectin sub-family member 12 (COLEC12; CLP1) belongs to the C-lectin family containing carbohydrate recognition sequences and collagen-like sequences. COLEC12 is a cell surface glycoprotein that binds to carbohydrate antigens on microorganisms and mediates host defense.
