Biochem/physiol Actions
CCDC7 (Coiled-Coil domain containing 7) or BioT2-A(BioT2-B,BioT2-C) gene is located on chromosome 10 and is widely expressed in epithelium of normal cervix and cervical cancer. It may play a role in inducing carcinogenesis in endometrial cancer. Overexpression of hBiot2 gene results in early and interim development of human cervical cancer.
