CoolBox^™

Easily transfer samples from the CoolBox XT cooling workstation to the robotic platform for brief cold processing (approx 20-30 minutes <10°C). CoolRack XT M24 tube module can be used to store samples in the refrigerator or freezer and then transferred to the CoolBox XT system for over 16 hours of ice-free cooling on the benchtop, in the tissue culture hood or in the clean room. Use the optional XT Freezing Core to keep the samples frozen for up to 8 hours or use with dry ice for snap freezing. Minimize risk of contamination from microorganisms and nucleases.

Applications include qPCR, RNA assays, tissue culture, snap-freeze bacteria, virus or protein samples, short transport of temperature-sensitive samples from lab to lab, field to lab, patient to clinic.
