生化/生理作用
皮质酮是肾上腺皮质分泌的一种糖皮质激素,可同时激活盐皮质激素和糖皮质激素受体。
皮质酮通过11β-羟化酶(主要存在于肾上腺中)反应合成,但也可在非肾上腺组织中合成,包括睾丸间质细胞和小鼠胸腺。皮质酮在下丘脑-垂体-肾上腺(HPA)轴激活后释放。它对调节新陈代谢、免疫功能和应激反应很关键。皮质酮由髓系细胞应激时的HPA激活产生。在亨廷顿病中可观察到皮质酮水平升高。
