General description

Application
来自Sigma的羧肽酶B作为参考标准品，已被用作测定源自大鼠前叶和中叶的裂解垂体颗粒中羧肽酶活性。 该酶还已被用于通过去除C末端碱性氨基酸对血浆样品进行消化，从而在C4电泳过程中为每种同种异型片段获得独特的条带。
Biochem/physiol Actions
羧肽酶B（CPB1）基因的突变与胰腺癌发生和发展的敏感性增加有关。 CPB1水平升高与低度乳腺肿瘤和淋巴结阳性1级肿瘤相关。
羧肽酶B（或肽基-L-赖氨酸（-L-精氨酸）水解酶）可催化碱性氨基酸，赖氨酸、精氨酸和鸟氨酸从多肽的C端水解。研究显示其为34,000Da的单链多肽。胰蛋白酶能够在体外将天然酶转化为活性酶羧肽酶B II。 其最适pH为9.0。该酶可通过连续切割C端碱性氨基酸从而用于序列分析。它也可以用作诊断急性胰腺炎的血清标志物。
