Caspase Combo II, Type 2, 3, and 7 human

Group II enzymes function in apoptosis as effectors and upstream activators and used in screening caspase inhibitors, studying enzyme kinetics and regulation, determining target substrates, as well as serving as positive controls in caspase activity assays and Western blot analysis.

Contains 0.052% ammonium sulfate, 0.158% Tris−HCl, 0.76% sodium chloride.

One unit will hydrolyze 1 nmol of the caspase substrate VDVAD-pNA (for caspase-2) and DEVD-pNA (for caspase-3,7), respectively, per hour at pH 7.2 at 37 °C.
