The antibody recognises the glycoprotein 2BII. Binding is lost after acid hydrolysis or de-glycosylation of 2BII. AFRC MAC 15 shows similar fine specificity and properties to AFRC MAC 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17.

Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. These cells require mouse macrophage feeder layers upon resuscitation
