Overproduces ornithine decarboxylase in response to polyamine deprivation.

Preparation Note

EMEM (EBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + Ham′s F12 (without Putrescine) (1:1) + 0.1% BSA.
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:5 to 1:10 i.e. seeding at 5x1,000 to 1x10,000 cells/cm2 using cold PBS and 0.25% cold trypsin. Place flasks at 4°C for 5-10 minutes or until cells detach. Culture cells at 37°C; 5% CO2. Pre-soak flasks in porcine
