Human Caucasian rhabdomyosarcoma
TE671 is now known to be identical to the human rhabdomyosarcoma RD cell line (Sigma Catalogue number. 85111502). Although originally described as derived from a cerebellar medulloblastoma, the cell line TE 671 is now known to be identical to the human rhabdomyosarcoma RD cell line (Sigma Catalogue number. 85111502). TE671 should be considered to be derived from RD.
Preparation Note
DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
