Aging studies

Derived from biopsy colon tissue of a black female infant (2.5 months old). CCD 18Lu (90112706) and CCD-18Co (90070503) were derived from the lung and colon respectively from the same patient; this has been confirmed by STR profiling at ECACC.

Split confluent cultures 1:2 to 1:3 i.e. seeding at 3-4x10,000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO₂; 37°C
