Biochem/physiol Actions
Human Caucasian rhabdomyosarcoma
Sub-line of TE671 (Sigma Catalogue number. 89071904) and identical to the RD cell line (human Rhabdomyosarcoma) (Sigma Catalogue number. 85111502). Although originally described as derived from a medulloblastoma the cell line TE671 is now known to be identical to the human rhabdomyosarcoma RD cell line (Sigma Catalogue number. 85111502). TE671 and TE671 Subline No.2 should be considered to be derived from RD.
Preparation Note
DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
