US-2019-nCoV SC2-HEX for detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA

The US-2019-nCoV SC2 Individual Assay is for qPCR (5′ nuclease assay) detection of SARS-CoV-2. The product is primers and probes, the sequences of which were designed and made publicly available by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (U.S. CDC) for use in its multiplex respiratory virus panel.

The forward and reverse primers in each tube come with the following features:

• DNA bases
• No modifications
• Desalt purified
• 16 nmol each

The Dual-Labeled Probe in each tube comes with the following features:

• DNA bases
• 6-FAM^™ reporter
• BXQ (Block All Quencher—SigmaAldrich.com/bxq)
• HPLC purified
• 4nmol

The product includes 1 tube of a 20X primer and probe pool for quantification of a SARS-CoV-2 gene. Assay included is N (3′ end), also known as SC2.

The forward primer, reverse primer, and probe are at final concentrations of 16, 16, and 4 μM, respectively.
