General description
One unit corresponds to the amount of enzyme which liberates 1 μmol of p-nitroaninline per minute at pH 7.0 at 25° C, using the substrate Z-Gly-Pro-pNA.
Application
Endoproteinase Pro-C has been used for protein analysis. It acts as a catalyst in the formation of Pro-X bonds in frozen aqueous systems.
