Focal adhesion kinase (FAK) is a cytoplasmic protein that belongs to non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase family. It has a critical role in regulation of cell differentiation, migration, adhesion and acceleration of the G1 to S phase transition in cell cycle. Anti-phospho-FAK (pTyr³⁹⁷) antibody can be used in immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry. Rabbit anti- phospho-FAK (pTyr³⁹⁷) antibody reacts specifically with FAK (125kD) phosphorylated at tyrosine 397. This product can also react with FAK (pTyr³⁹⁷) of rat, chicken, frog, mouse and human.
