生化/生理作用
FBI-1/Pokemon is a BTB/POZ containing zinc-finger protein. It is predominantly expressed in a subset of T-cell lymphoma and B-cell lymphomas. It is also found in breast, lung, colon, prostate, and bladder carcinomas. It has capacity to bind the HIV-inducer of short transcripts (IST), thus called FBI-1. It was identified as a critical factor in oncogenesis and was called Pokemon (POK erythroid myeloid ontogenic factor). By binding to the tumor suppressor gene ARF, the Pokemon exerts its oncogenic activity.
