Anti-FBI-1/Pokemon antibody is suitable for immunoprecipitation at a concentration of 2-4μL using A431 cell lysates and western blot (chemiluminescent) at a dilution of 1:4,000-1:6,000 using K-562 lysates.

FBI-1/Pokemon is a BTB/POZ containing zinc-finger protein.[1] It is predominantly expressed in a subset of T-cell lymphoma and B-cell lymphomas. It is also found in breast, lung, colon, prostate, and bladder carcinomas. It has capacity to bind the HIV-inducer of short transcripts (IST), thus called FBI-1.[2] It was identified as a critical factor in oncogenesis and was called Pokemon (POK erythroid myeloid ontogenic factor).[3] By binding to the tumor suppressor gene ARF, the Pokemon exerts its oncogenic activity.[3][4]
