Application
A fast, easy method for isolating genomic DNA from a wide range of cell and tissue types: blood, mouse tails, yeast, E. coli, and plant leaves. There is no spooling of DNA and no resin. With few manipulations, high-quality DNA up to 200 kb is isolated, ready for use in PCR, hybridization, RFLP mapping, and genomic DNA library construction.
Features and Benefits
Most samples require less than 90 minutes. There is a 30-minute protocol for isolating DNA from blood for subsequent PCR. Sample sizes range from 25 μl of blood to 1 gram of mammalian tissue.
