KIT (v-kit Hardy-Zuckerman 4 feline sarcoma viral oncogene homolog) is a tyrosine kinase receptor, the gene of which is localized to human chromosome 4q12. It is a transmembrane receptor, and is also called CD117. It is expressed by mast cells, hematopoietic progenitor cells, germ cells, melanocytes and interstitial cells of Cajal.

Anti-KIT antibody produced in chicken is suitable for western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.
