Application
Anti-CXCL11 antibody produced in chicken is suitable for western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 11 (CXCL11) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. It is highly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes, pancreas and liver, with moderate levels in thymus, spleen and lung and low expression levels seen in small intestine, placenta and prostate. It is involved in down-regulating Th1 lymphocyte chemoattraction. CXCL11 is up-regulated in patients with chronic obstructive airways disease.

The exit of lymphocytes from the interstitium of the lung, across the bronchial epithelium and into the airway lumen, is known as egression, or luminal clearance. Egression is important for immune surveillance and the resolution of inflammation, but the mechanisms

The CXCR3 chemokine receptor regulates the migration of Th1 lymphocytes and responds to three ligands: CXCL9/MIG, CXCL10/IP-10, and CXCL11/I-TAC. We screened for potential regulation of T cell responses by matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) processing of these important chemokines. The most potent
