General description
鲎(马蹄蟹)血淋巴中的血蓝蛋白是一种被动结合氧的高分子铜蛋白。
来自鲎的血蓝蛋白的结构包括:在 N 末端具有 α-螺旋区的结构域 I,具有活性位点铜残基的结构域 II 和 4 个 α-螺旋束,以及在 C 末端具有反向平行 β-桶结构的结构域 III 。血蓝蛋白的分子量为 72 kDa,具有酚氧化酶功能。
Application
血蓝蛋白用于研究突触成熟过程中 LIM 激酶 1 在突触前末端的积累。 它也被用于使用抗肽抗血清对人卵泡刺激素-β进行地形分析。
