General description
Mitochondrial ribosomal protein L18 (MRPL18) is located on human chromosome 6q25.3. It is associated with large subunit of the mitochondrial ribosome and belongs to L18/eL5 protein family. The predicted structure of MRPL18 has RNA-binding domain with anti-parallel β-sheet and α-helical bundle.
